Van Gogh Art History Workshop

October 6, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

This workshop will focus on the art of Vincent Van Gogh but is will not be a lecture workshop.

It will be a “hands on” drawing workshop as we investigate Van Gogh’s artistic style through his use of line, color, and perspective. Working in black and white, we’ll be exploring his journaling creations as we make our very own journaling pages complete with writing and visual expression. By the end of the workshop, we will have completed drawings using Van Gogh as our artistic muse but also mixing it up a bit with injection of color.

Please bring a special poem or literary piece you enjoy to incorporate into our work. All supplies will be provided. If you are a fan of Van Gogh or just want to learn more about the man and his art, then this workshop is for you.

Ages: 13 and older

Instructor: Sandi Cirillo

Cost includes all supplies.

Registration deadline is October 4 by noon.  If you want to sign up after this date please call to see if there are seats still available. You may cancel your sign up for the class up to registration deadline. After the deadline you will be given a credit to use for future classes or workshop.

Payment for the class needs to be made by the registration deadline. This allow teacher enough time to prepare.

If you have any issues signing up on the website you can sign up over the phone as well, so just give us a call.
